Also a year ago I've reduced my reading backlog from 120 feeds to 70 feeds, and today I'll reduce it from 88 feeds to whatever I'm really interested in.
Some explanations...
Since Google added support for almost all apps in the Standard Google Apps service, I've been trying to do a full transition from Google account to the apps account. Today is Google Reader. But since Google doesn't provide a way to migrate all your services (actually it doesn't provide a way of migrating anything), I had to find a way to migrate things. In case of Google Reader, you can export/import your feeds, but you can't export your shared items and starred items, so this is my way of exporting them.
